Mr. Pickles

Mr. Pickles sure gets around! This ambitious pug was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida but has moved to Cocoa, which is just down the road from the Kennedy Space Center. Mr. Pickles loves to watch the spaceships take off and often daydreams about becoming a canine astronaut, like the Russian dogs who flew on Sputnik missions. He closes his eyes and pictures the scene: after a successful trip to Mars, he returns to Earth (wearing a spacesuit with a giant green pickle on it) and is greeted by crowds of barking fans, ticker-tape parades, and a lifetime supply of chew toys. Now that's a doggy who's out of this world!
